Short and sweet this week

I was selfish and took more time this week to write my wonderful parents and family and friends that are like family than writing you, blog world and random cyber stalkers.

Something that has brought me ltos of joy in these past few weeks is turning frowns upside down. But really. I love contacting people who seem apprehensive or uninterested in talking to us and then walking away leaving them happy and smiling whether they wanted to learn more about our church or not. This little black tag that I wear has some major power behind it.

I'm learning how to really use the personality and talents God has given me to be the best missionary I can be. Missionary work takes your heart, your soul, and every little piece of you when you are focused. I can't say I am 100% focused all the time but whe  I am able to spend every second of the day putting my all in, I go home completely spent in the service of the Lord. That is the best feeling ever.

We had a semi-first lesson with a university of Utah football player last night (DID YOU HEAR THAT DAD?!) and he seems like he would be willing to learn more but isn't super interested right now. There are a ton of guys who live under us who really need some light in their lives but live a very different lifestyle. Someone new moved in and really wants to get baptized and make changes in his life. It will be cool to see if that has any affect on the others living there who come from similar walks of life. Change through the atonement is real, and I am blessed to teach people that everyday.

Love,
Sister Pearson
