Oh how praying rests the weary!

After this week I don't know if sister Tranchina will ever be able to say she's had a companion that likes to pray as much as I do. Let me explain. Yesterday morning, I woke up suddenly, excited to get ready for the conference we had that day with Elder Arnold. I said good morning to sister tranchina and said "we need to pray, but let me go to the bathroom first!" I went to the bathroom, came out still in a sleepy daze, and got on my knees to pray when Sister tranchina looked at her watch and said "sister Pearson, it's 2 in the morning! go to bed!" Oh the life of a missionary. don't worry, we still prayed when we woke up at the usual time.

This week has been busy and wonderful. We taught Spencer again and had the opportunity to take him to a Russian baptism on Saturday morning. I wish Brad and Michelle could have been there because when I say Russian, I mean Russian! We didn't know that the whole thing would be in Russian! Luckily there was a translator who whispered the translation in a lovely british accent and Spencer thought it was nice. He also commented on how convenient it is that we can just fill up a font rather than having to go search for a clearwater pond as he imagined would happen. He's funny. I can already see the change that is starting to happen with him as he reads the book of mormon and gets to know more members of the church.

I don't have much time this week but I just want to share my testimony about our divine destinies. I've been thinking a lot about the Plan of Salvation and what my role is in that. Ijust know that God really does have a plan for us, that we knew about it before this life when we lived with him, and that we can know it in this life in order to get back to him. It wouldn't make sense to return to a Father in Heaven we never knew before, return means to go back implying that we were in heaven before! There are so many wonders of God we don't know, but I'm grateful that we do know this one. God has given us all the tools we need to find purpose in this life and join with him again after this life. And the best part about it all is that we won't go back alone, but with our families!

I really don't know what else to share this week, so let me know what types of things you would like to hear about in these emails! Times up, love you all!

Love,
Sister Pearson
